Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is God’s Word given by divine inspiration, the record of God’s revelation of Himself to humanity

We believe in the one living and true God, perfect in wisdom, sovereignty, holiness, justice, mercy, and love

God the Father reigns with providential care over all life and history in this universe He created.

God the Son is Jesus Christ, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and has provided salvation through His death on the cross and by His resurrection from the dead.

God the Holy Spirit, was sent to this earth to convict individuals of their sinfulness and guide believers today into a fuller understanding and knowledge of God.

We believe God created an order of spiritual beings called angels to serve Him and do His will. Some of these, called demons, led by Satan, rebelled against God and are now the enemies of God and His people. Their destiny is eternal punishment in Hell.

We believe God created mankind as male and female, in His own image, to have fellowship with Himself and to be steward over His creation. Men and women today are sinners by nature and are in need of eternal salvation.

We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who will save those who trust in Him from sin and eternal death.

We believe the Church is the body of which Christ is the head, and all who believe in Him are its members.

The ordinances of the church are baptism by immersion for those who believe, and the Lord’s Supper which is observed as a remembrance of Christ's death on the cross.

We believe religious liberty, rooted in Scripture, is the inalienable right of all individuals, to worship and live as they please, within the confines of civil society, with ultimate accountability to God.

We believe Christians, individually and collectively, are salt and light in society.

We affirm marriage as a covenant relationship between one man and one woman, and the family as the basic unit of society and seek to preserve its integrity and stability.

We believe God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring all things to their appropriate end and establish the new heaven and the new earth in which righteousness will dwell.
